Let the topic ideas roll!
This is a reminder that Franklin Open Forum will come up with an October discussion topic by consensus via this blog site. Let the deluge of ideas begin!
George: Here's some ideas: Should the military draft be reinstated?, Why are we still so inadept at taking care of national disasters,i.e., Katrina?, Should state colledges and universities be part of the public education system and be tuition free to state residents? Just some ideas. Any value???

To get the ball rolling here is one topic that has been playing on my mind. "Where will the winds of political extremism take us?"
I haven't defined whose "extremism" that I am thinking about - just trying to keep the dialog options open.

George, the "wind" may be kicking up to "tropical storm" strength! Would like to see some other input for tpoics.
